Grain side
The grain side is the side of the leather facing the hair side. The grain pattern refers to the characteristic structures of different leathers.
Greased nubuck
Greased nubuck is a smooth leather finished on the grain side, the surface of which is finely sanded and finished with a high proportion of grease. The sanding gives the leather a characteristic, velvety surface.
Greek feet
The second toe is longer than the big toe. Around 15 percent of people have "Greek feet". When buying shoes, look for shoes with a long shape.
Grip tresholds
Grip thresholds and the raised metatarsal sections of STRÖBER footbeds ensure that the foot rolls actively and trains the foot muscles. Muscles strengthened in this way are able to maintain the arch of the foot for longer.
